The annual Buckinghamshire tour to Amersham has been ongoing since 1986. Held over the August Bank Holiday weekend this trip is full of laughs and surprises - oh and there's some cricket played too.
We prefer it if people stay for a period of the tour (either the whole thing or for parts of it) so that you get the full tour experience, but day trippers are also welcome.
Itinerary:
- Saturday 29 August - golf at Wycombe Heights Golf Club, or the evening for those playing league cricket during the day.
- Sunday 30 August vs Hyde Heath. The fixture has been ongoing since 1988 and is played for the Brian Hartley Trophy (a longstanding member of both clubs).
- Monday 31 August vs Little Missenden. The fixture has been running since 1987 and perfectly encapsulates what village cricket is all about.
- Tuesday 1 September vs Ley Hill. The fixture started in 2020 and is set at a delightfully quirky ground with the nearby road making for some interesting local rules.
