
Why does a qualification help?
Becoming an ECB qualified cricket coach is a rewarding way to share a passion for the game, inspire the next generation, develop personal skills and even improve your own cricketing performance.
We need more qualified individuals capable of helping to run sessions for both adult and junior cricket. This will provide a better experience throughout the club and contribute to providing an environment that is both safe and fun, whilst also helping players improve.
Training Courses
Training courses are provided by the Surrey Cricket Foundation (SCF) and are linked to the ECB Coaches Association (ECBCA). There are various levels available so regardless of previous cricketing experience, or intended coaching aims, there is a course for everyone.
WWCC are willing to subsidise the cost of available training courses.

The role of the ECB Coaches Association (ECBCA)
Members come from all levels of the game and have somewhere to turn to get the ongoing support all coaches need in order to be the best they can be. Nationally, the ECB Coaches Association offers a range of products and services that help you to support players. See here for further information of the ECBCA.
