The West Wimbledon CC member of the month award is presented to someone who has gone above and beyond in their recent contribution to the club. It's just one way of celebrating all the things our members do that make our club a fantastic community. Anyone in the club can nominate someone - look out for a Boundary Buzz email asking for this next time! The Management Committee then choose from those nominations.

The winner for July 2026 is Barry Brown.

Many members will be aware that our pavilion refurbishment project has been ongoing for most of the year. A complete overhaul has transformed the whole space into a much more welcoming environment for both members and guests. It has also provided significant operational benefits behind the scenes for our volunteers.

Barry has been a key driver behind this work, which included liaising with the contractors and helping with various design elements. Without his hard work, the whole thing may not have happened, and certainly not by our target date of President's Day at the beginning of August.
