The West Wimbledon CC member of the month award is presented to someone who has gone above and beyond in their recent contribution to the club. It's just one way of celebrating all the things our members do that make our club a fantastic community. Anyone in the club can nominate someone - look out for a Boundary Buzz email asking for this next time! The Management Committee then choose from those nominations.

The winner for March 2025 is Barry Brown.

Barry recently took on the role of volunteer Grounds Lead and has dedicated a significant amount of time to removing brambles around the site. In time this will enable us to extend the boundary in certain places, which is much needed especially at the far end of the ground.

Barry has also been driving forwards various practical improvements around the club and has been pivotal in planning the all important pre-season pitch rolling programme. If you wander by the club the chances are you'll see Barry hard at work somewhere!
