The West Wimbledon CC member of the month award is presented to someone who has gone above and beyond in their recent contribution to the club. It's just one way of celebrating all the things our members do that make our club a fantastic community. Anyone in the club can nominate someone - look out for a Boundary Buzz email asking for this next time! The Management Committee then choose from those nominations.

The winner for March 2026 is Ed Fresson.

At a training session on Wednesday 18th March, one of our players was unfortunately injured. Ed Fresson helped to coordinate first aid treatment with staff at our training venue (the Kings Club) for the injured player and also sourced a lift to A & E. Once there, Ed remained to provide moral support during the two hour wait, only returning home when the injured party was also able to do so. In the following days Ed repeatedly checked in on the player's welfare and kept relevant other parties updated. Thank you Ed for a fantastic example of team spirt and being a true club person.
