The West Wimbledon CC member of the month award is presented to someone who has gone above and beyond in their recent contribution to the club. It's just one way of celebrating all the things our members do that make our club a fantastic community. Anyone in the club can nominate someone - look out for a Boundary Buzz email asking for this next time! The Management Committee then choose from those nominations.

The winner for May 2026 is Emily Marsh.

For the 2026 season Emily took on the role of Women's Cricket Coordinator behind the scenes. Due to unforeseen circumstances this has evolved into often also taking the on field captaincy for the 2026 season too, which in May included our first ever Women's league victory.

Emily has also completed the ECB Foundation coaching course and has been leading women's training sessions, in addition to volunteering with our new girl's section on Friday evenings.

Fantastic work Emily and long may it continue!
