The West Wimbledon CC member of the month award is presented to someone who has gone above and beyond in their recent contribution to the club. It's just one way of celebrating all the things our members do that make our club a fantastic community. Anyone in the club can nominate someone - look out for a Boundary Buzz email asking for this next time! The Management Committee then choose from those nominations.

The winner for October 2026 is Emma Green.

In early October we hosted our annual awards night at AFC Wimbledon for more than 50 people. Emma was a key part of the organisation for the event and put together all of the slides on the big screen for the evening. She also spent considerable time researching and purchasing the new WWCC branded banner and tablecloth, which helped to make the whole night more about "us". On the night itself Emma gave a speech in her role as Women's Team Captain, but also organised all of the photos for our social media accounts. In the days after the event, these were all scheduled on our channels to promote both the club and our worthy award winners.

Thank you for all the hard work Emma!
