The West Wimbledon CC member of the month award is presented to someone who has gone above and beyond in their recent contribution to the club. It's just one way of celebrating all the things our members do that make our club a fantastic community. Anyone in the club can nominate someone - look out for a Boundary Buzz email asking for this next time! The Management Committee then choose from those nominations.

The winner for September 2026 is Barry Brown.

Many members will know that we had an ongoing pavilion refurbishment project ongoing for much of the year. During the process of completing this, several leaks were discovered in the roof, that during periods of wet weather could lead to all of our investment being ruined.

Barry helped arrange for works to take place over the course of four days in September to fix these leaks. The process also included removing the rather ugly disused black water tank that sat on top of the building. So next time members are down at the club, be sure to have a look at where it used to be!

Thank you for all the hard work Barry!
