Highlights

• Jed-ridiculous to the sublime in the field by dropping a dolly at square leg, only to pick the ball up and run out the better bat
• Soggy Simon-being the pick of the bowlers, including an amazing 8 runs from his last 6 overs
• Daz-taking a skier at fine leg for his first catch in ages, only to find out the umpire had already no-balled Jed
• Brad-successfully acting as third umpire by conclusively proving that Eddolls had made the wrong call on a stumping via his phone
• Lance-being so disappointed at the poor standard of tea he stole a second ham sandwich
• Roy-running an impromptu bat knocking in session, only to be followed by Daz for the rest of the innings
• OJ-bringing some supporters all the way from Wales to watch the game, only to bore them into submission with his fielding positions masterclass
• Mike-visibly struggling with the 6 and out rule, including a particularly nervous 2-bounce 4
• The Skipper-coming in to bat on a hat trick ball twice in the same game
• Ro-facing more balls as a runner (2) than a batter (1)
• Eddolls-attempting to give the win to the oppo in the last over by picking up the stumps despite us only being 9 down

(Honorable Mentions-

• Rich-getting out cheaply for the 5s and blaming it on the Colts not being able to score
• Ed-producing the best bowling figures for the 5s with 2-31)

Man of the Match-Has to be Soggy Simon for his superb bowling spell and ice-cold nerves in the last over

Daz of the Day-The 2 30am crew, who somehow managed to stay out that late at the oppo clubhouse, managing to lose glasses, get punched by barmaids and accidently form the Hampton Wick Royal 6th XI

Portbuca Moment-Walls hitting the antepenultimate ball for 4 on camera to win the game, also featuring the despair of the 12 year old opposition fielder.

Overall Record-4s fortify their second place in the Fuller Cup standings, remaining a single game behind the 1s

Next Week-The big one. The 4s are at Barn Elms looking for revenge against the Jed XI after last year's relatively convincing win. Last year, they chased our total down for the loss of 7 wickets despite a top score of 33 from Ro and a memorable run out of Jimmy by guest star Cam.
