Senior Cricket This Week (1 - 7 September):

- SUNDAY - Sunday XI vs Outwood (away).
Senior Cricket Last Week (27 - 31 August):
- 1st XI lost vs Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth (scorecard here by 5 wickets in SCC Division 7 Central. Some late fireworks from David Friar (28) helped WWCC to 136 all out. Unfortunately the opposition had an ex Prem player who smashed it everywhere to ease home.
- 2nd XI lost vs Merton (scorecard here by 95 runs in SCC Division 10 North. Rohit Nag (3/33) blew away the top order, but a poor fielding display allowed the opposition no 6 to smash a ton as part of 211 all out. Matt Saich (40) held things together, but support was lacking and the innings ran out of steam at 116 all out.
- 3rd XI lost vs Epic (scorecard here) by 8 wickets in SCC Division 12 East Central. Rohit Bokam (28) top scored but WWCC could only manage 70 all out against a strong opposition, which they comfortably knocked off.
- Sunday XI lost vs Energy Exiles (scorecard here) by 206 runs. The opposition smashed 262/5 from 35 overs, which was far too many with Matt Bartlett scoring 36 out of a WWCC total of 58 all out.
Currie Motors Player of the Week - Matt Saich.
(Based on WWCC Fantasy Cricket points (see here), Saturday games only from 10th May - 6th September).

Women's Cricket Last Week (27 - 31 August):
- Women's XI won vs Limpsfield Chart by 10 runs. WWCC did well to restrict the opposition to 67/3 (net 252) and the run chase was close. The final pair consisting of captain Emma Green and debutant Sarah Bender needed 13 from the final 3 overs, which was duly knocked off with room to spare for a fantastic season ending victory.
Currie Motors Player of the Week - Abby Mustoe.
